My animation is about an animal. It is about a penguin which lives in the arctic.

1 penguin's life change because it was away from home. It went to a new  home in the desert. We all know predators hunt for other predators.

My snake is also going to go to the Arctic. We all know that some snakes live in the desert right. But today it will have to change the colour of the snake so then it can live in the Arctic.  These 2 animals are going to do different places inside the world. The two animals might not survive in the arctic or in the desert. I think the penguins will survive in the desert.

egg friend

On Wednesday the 21 st of October we had a egg friend

race. It  was so weird. Our teacher Mr Baxendine is crazy. My egg cracked which was so sad but we had a funeral. The grave for the egg was the bin. It was what the eggs  wanted. All the pieces of egg that I had in my hands called the Bin  the terrifying monster.

Athlete's day

In 2015 PT England School had an Athlete's day. That day was hard. The 100 metre run was the hardest thing.  I could feel my legs getting sore. Then we had to run the 100 metre run again. Everybody was Login for the run. Some people are sprinting so I sprinted as well. It was  hard but I never gave up. You should never give up in your life. We don't know who won. I can't wait for another 100 metre run because was kinda fun. We did games which were fun games. We didn't know who won but the team who has the most points came first.  In the is school Athlete's day is a yearly routine. I can't believe I actually survived that day.

camp

 In the holidays I woke up at 5:00 in the morning. Then i got dress for Riverside camp.I went to Riverside camp for a week it was fun. We played cool water games and got wet we also got messy it was so fun. We had a disco. We had a game you might know it, it is called spotlight.

This week on  camp Riverside camp  my favourite camp  At camp we don't know a lot of fun things  to do know    I can't forget the end is really good good stuff playing games and playing with stuff trampolines to rules are one at a time  on you to take times always  we went to school my school is fun school mr burt was the boss of the camp.

Croasscountry

On monday we had cross country  at   pt englnd school.     We   Iined up at 1pm  on the court we sat down  for a littletime. The teachers spoke time. The teachers spoke whoever cams 1ft and 2nd and 3 rd they will be raceing  They started the race with the Year  1 boys  and the year 1 girls. The last race was the year 8 boys. I didn’t run  because I was sick.It was fun because I  didn’t run…

Holiday

Last term we had a wheels day it was cool not everyone came with a bike. They were sad.

In the morning I got on my bike. I speed to school so I would be on time to class.

The wheels day was good. I hope it will happen again next year.

Basket Boats

My reading group have been reading about basket boats from Vietnam. They use basket boats for fishing.
In New Zealand we use speedboats. It's job to do racing and win challenges for New Zealand.

Easter

People have different beliefs about Easter. Some people think it is about bunnies, easter eggs,ood, when Jesus Christ was resurrected and some people don’t celebrate it.gyptians and Persians believe that the whole world came from an egg. They decoratedhe eggs to celebrate new life. The first chocolate egg was made in Germany.

Secret heart Fair

Yesterday me, my brother, my mum and my dad went to the secret heart fair. I found a dragon ball z figuren. We spent 1 hour at the Fair. We go every year.

First me and my Dad went to the toys. There were heaps of toys. The Nerf guns were the coolest.

Next we went to buy some things. We got marshmallows on a stick, a bag lollies and mum got us some clothes. They wear so tasty.    

I liked my clothes because they were karate ones. I was so happy. I cat  wait to go next

Look out for Pukeko

We have been reading about Pukekos. I found out that Pukekos like to live near creeks, lakes and ponds because they have water. They also like to hide in bushes. Here is a picture of where pukekos like to live.

The Pt England Way       

Use your WITS means W-Walk away, I-Ignore, T-Talk about it and S-Seek help. You should use your WITS because it can help you when someone is mean to you in life.

Walk away means walk away from the person doing mean things. You have to move far away so they can’t see you anymore. One time when someone was swearing at me I walked away and couldn’t hear them anymore.

Ignore it is when you don’t listen or look at the person being mean. If you ignore them then it doesn’t hurt you anymore. When kids in my class give me mean eyes I don’t look at them and ignore them.

Talk about it means go ask them to stop it. Say “I do not like it.” When my brother is being mean by swearing at me I say stop it please I do not like it and sometimes he will stop.

Seek help means look for an adult to tell them the name of the person that is hurting you. Remember to tell them you have already talked to the person but they haven’t stopped. Sometimes I have to talk to my mum when my brother is hurting me.

You should use your WITS if someone is being mean to you because it will get you far in life. It will keep you out of trouble.  

Nga Manawa Presentation

We have been reading about Nga Manawa the mangrove tree. I found out they grow in salt water in the North Island of New Zealand. Here is a Nga Manawa presentation about what I learnt.

Exercise Investigation

In Room 9 and 10 we have been learning to do a Statistical Investigation. First we asked a question. Then we worked out the answer and presented it in a graph. Lastly we wrote about what we found out. I hope you enjoy our investigation.
